A bit about me...
I am passionate about people and helping people through therapy. Therapy is not just for those in crisis or for those who feel their life is falling apart. It is also about helping people improve their lives and feel better about themselves.
I am also passionate about relationships – marriages, significant others, family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, you name it. Relationships are where we turn to when we have had a bad day or when we achieve something great. They are where we know and become known, and what makes life so dynamic and fun… when they are healthy! I want to help you have healthy relationships.
I earned my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. I am a pre-licensed professional and Marriage and Family Therapist, currently under the ongoing supervision of Vanieca Kraus, LMFT, PhD. Some of my coursework included marriage and family therapy, couple's counseling, human growth and development, psychopathology, play therapy, spiritual integration into therapy, social justice and cultural diversity, and relationship assessment.
On a personal level, I am married and have three grown children, and have a two year old grandson. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music, going to movies, and visiting the beautiful Oregon coast. I am also a hospice volunteer providing respite for care-giving family members.
I encourage you to call or email me today with your questions or if you would like to schedule a free half-hour consultation.
